Denise Rubin, Human Resource Consultant and Chief Problem Solver for WORK DOES MATTER LLC, brings with her a deep passion for creating healthy workplaces. As a Human Resources leader with almost 30 years experience in multiple industries both public and private, Denise has a keen insight into driving workforce performance. These roles have been with Coinstar, Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound, Bsquare Corporation, W&H Pacific, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the May Company.

Holding the top HR role in organizations for the past ten years, Denise has had multiple successes in navigating complex organizational issues and developing cost effective processes, systems and programs. Denise consistently elicits excellence and accountability through effective leadership and coaching. She is known for building trusting relationships and achieving problem resolution, based on respect and integrity. She is also recognized for her outstanding coaching, presentation, facilitation and instructional skills.

Denise is dedicated to reaching out to employers and their employees to create healthy and sustainable organizations. Denise graduated with a Masters Degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Cal State University at Northridge.
